Arc Raiders Extraction Points

Losing gear on a failed extract hurts. Knowing your nearest extract before you start looting is the single most important habit. There are no safe zones at extract — enemies can and will attack you during the countdown. This guide covers all four extract types, timings, noise levels, and confirmed locations per map.

Why Extraction Matters

Cargo Elevator

Activation: Interact with a call terminal near the shaft. Timer: Approximately 90 seconds from activation. Sound: Loud siren audible through walls across the entire zone — immediately broadcasts your position. Visual: Elevator car descends with glowing edge lights and a UI countdown timer. No key required. Multiple elevators can be active simultaneously.

Overtime Calling an elevator when the raid timer is at zero grants overtime — the raid extends until the elevator completes. If you die during the countdown you lose all carried gear.

Locations: Spaceport has 4 elevators (Western, Central, South, East). Dam has 2–3 (near Sunroof, west lift, southeast). Use the Spaceport and Dam interactive maps with the extraction layer to find exact spots.

Metro Station (Buried City only)

Fixed station entry points in four districts. Activation requires solving a pinwheel puzzle at the station or using a Master Key item. Timer: Approximately 90 seconds for train arrival. Sound: Loud alarm similar to elevator. Once a station is used, it closes permanently for that raid. Typically only one train extraction per raid. Locations are fixed — four stations across Buried City districts.

Airshaft

Found on Blue Gate and Stella Montis. Activation: Wall terminal/electronics panel. Timer: Approximately 60–70 seconds (faster than elevator). Sound: Engine noise from the arriving dropship, less alarm-like than elevator — less attention-drawing. Visual: Hovering black-and-red VTOL dropship. Blue Gate: one airshaft near the Processing tower. Stella Montis: one airshaft in the lower level main lobby (Eastern Tunnel Airshaft). No overtime granted — if the dropship arrives and departs before you board, that extract is gone.

Raider Hatch

Requires a Raider Hatch Key (single use, found as loot or crafted). Activation: Use key on hatch panel. NOT instant — opens a 15-second window during which anyone who reaches the hatch is extracted. Silent: No alarm sounds. Other players have no audio alert but may see the door open. Only one hatch can be open at a time per map.
