Arc Raiders Cache Locations & Raider Cache Guide
Raider Caches are the best source for weapon blueprints and high-tier loot. This guide explains what they are, how spawns work, farming during Cold Snap and Night Raids, loot tables, and zone-by-zone cache locations for all five maps — with links to each zone's interactive map.
What is a Raider Cache
Large steel crate containers, distinctly larger than standard lockers and weapon cases. Visually marked by surrounding rubble and overgrown brush (in normal conditions). No key required to open in Standard Patrol — interact to loot directly. Community maps mark known spawn points. Use the CONTAINERS layer on each zone map to find cache markers. How Cache Spawns Work
Fixed spawn point system with a random subset active each raid. Each map has dozens of known possible spawn locations — only 5–8 are active in any given session. Approximate known spawn point counts: Spaceport ~56, Buried City ~38, Dam ~30. That's why caches feel somewhat random — you are finding the active subset of a larger pool, not fixed guaranteed locations.
Cold Snap and Night Raids
When Cold Snap is active, Raider Caches spawn without their surrounding foliage — they appear as bare locked chests and must be breached to open. During Cold Snap seasons, the number of active caches per raid increases and blueprint drop rates are significantly higher; when Cold Snap is active it is the community-recommended farming condition for rare weapon blueprints. Hurricane First Wave caches also have elevated blueprint rates when that condition runs. Night Raids also significantly increase blueprint drop rates across all container types, making any Night Raid session a strong farming opportunity even outside Cold Snap. Check the live events tracker before queuing to target these conditions. See Map Rotation for the full condition schedule.
Cache Loot Table
High-tier ammo (HV rounds), weapon attachments and parts, shields and mods, healing items, and most importantly weapon blueprints including rare tiers. Community reports confirm top-tier weapon blueprints (Tempest, Bobcat, Vulcano) drop from caches during event conditions. Standard containers give common loot — caches skew heavily toward mid and late game items.
Cache Locations by Map
Dam Battlegrounds

Spaceport
Container Storage, Maintenance Wing, Train Station docks area. → Spaceport interactive map (CONTAINERS filter).
Buried City
Old Town, Pharma district, Outskirts. → Buried City interactive map (CONTAINERS filter).
Blue Gate

Stella Montis
Suburban zones, Hidden Bunker area. → Stella Montis interactive map (CONTAINERS filter).
How to Tell if a Cache Has Been Looted
No audio cue. Visual: empty cache has no shimmering chest icon and no plant life around it (in Standard Patrol). When Cold Snap is active there are no plants regardless, so check the interaction prompt — an empty cache gives no pickup option.
Cache vs Standard Container
Caches are large square outdoor crates with marking lights. Standard containers are smaller, inside buildings (lockers, weapon cases, drawers). Caches give dramatically better loot. Do not confuse them with regular containers that happen to be outside.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where are Raider Caches in Arc Raiders?
Raider Caches use fixed spawn points; 5–8 are active per raid. Key zones: Dam (western warehouse, Old Battlegrounds, floodgate, Pattern House, Electrical Substation), Spaceport (Container Storage, Maintenance Wing, Train Station), Buried City (Old Town, Pharma, Outskirts), Blue Gate (Supply Camp, Fort Knox, Station Plaza, Ranger), Stella Montis (suburban, Hidden Bunker). Use the CONTAINERS layer on each zone's interactive map.
How many caches spawn per raid in Arc Raiders?
Only 5–8 cache spawn points are active per map in any given session. Each map has dozens of possible locations (e.g. Spaceport ~56, Buried City ~38, Dam ~30). When Cold Snap is active, the number of active caches per raid increases.
What do Raider Caches contain?
High-tier ammo, weapon attachments and parts, shields and mods, healing items, and weapon blueprints including rare tiers (Tempest, Bobcat, Vulcano reported from event conditions). Caches skew heavily toward mid and late game items.
What is the best condition for farming Raider Caches?
When Cold Snap is active: more active caches, higher blueprint drop rates, and caches must be breached (no foliage). Night Raids also significantly boost blueprint drops across containers. Hurricane First Wave also has elevated blueprint rates when it runs. Use the live events tracker to queue when these conditions are active.
Do you need a key to open a Raider Cache?
No. In Standard Patrol you interact to loot directly. When Cold Snap is active, caches appear as bare locked chests and must be breached to open — still no key item required.
